CPM came into existence in 1962 after splitting from CPI. The split was because the leaders of this breakaway faction supported China when Chinese occupation army forcibly occupied some parts of India and since that time this party has been going against national sentiments and acting contrary to country’s philosophy and culture.

While the whole of India was united in condemning the Chinese aggressive, it was only the CPM leaders like Jyoti Basu and Ratanlal Brahmin who played the anti-Indian role sitting in India. These two were the only MLAs of CPM in West Bengal State Legislative Assembly. Infact, Ratanlal Brahman who was elected as MLA from North Bengal planted the seeds of Gorkhaland (when Congress was in power), something for which the state is still paying heavily.
 
At the time of Congress regime (1962-1967), CPM kept started agitations on frivolous issues and when the party and leaders got their benefits, they would call off the agitation. These types of incidents happened very a times. In fact, so many so-called leftist leaders have been seen to become rich on the ‘Farce Agitations’ against industrialists. The ideology of these so-called communists is that the means justifies the end and that the interest of CPM, CPM cadres and leaders are of paramount importance.

For example, about a year ago we saw CPM sending criminals to beat up anti-CPM and Non-CPM people of Singur and Nandigram. Criminals like Nadu Maity, caught by CBI and many others in connection of rape and murder of innocent people was, described by CPM Chief Minister as ‘Our Men’.

During the recent Panchayat Election of West Bengal, it was alleged that the CPM MP Lakshman Seth openly ordered top ranking CRPF Officer Mr Alok Raj to go back to the barrack in order to create opportunity of ‘Mass Rigging’ by CPM supporters. Alok Raj naturally refused to obey the order of Laksman Seth and as a result, a false charge of him molesting two CPM lady cadres was framed. It was later proved that the charges were baseless. In fact, more than 30 people lost their lives and thousands were injured and many places witnessed ‘rigging’.
 
CPM is under the impression that no can have a check on them because Mr Priya Ranjan Dasmunshi and Pranab Mukherjeee fully depend on them to save their own Ministry. They also thinks that, by acting as a supporter of Hindu Communalism, Buddhadev Bhattacharya will manage to cull favor from Lalkrishna Advani as he did when Advaniji was the Deputy Prime Minister of India. But it is time that the common people came to know what the real CPM is.
